David Bondy Named to Baton Rouge Business Report’s Capital Region 500

David Bondy, Founder & CEO

LUBA Workers’ Comp Founder and CEO David Bondy has been recognized among the Baton Rouge Business Report’s 2026 Capital Region 500, which highlights influential leaders helping shape the Capital Region and its business community.

Since founding LUBA in 1991, David has remained focused on building a workers’ compensation company centered on strong relationships, responsive service and doing what is right for the businesses and people LUBA serves. Under his leadership, LUBA has grown from its Louisiana roots to serve thousands of businesses across the region while maintaining the personal approach that has been part of the company from the beginning.

More than 35 years later, the principles David established at LUBA’s beginning continue to guide the company today: putting relationships first, being there when people need us and providing the kind of dependable service agents and policyholders can count on.

David’s commitment to the community has been just as longstanding. He has served with numerous nonprofit organizations, including Teach for America, Junior Achievement, the Louisiana Art & Science Museum and the American Heart Association. He is also a graduate of LSU’s E. J. Ourso School of Business and a member of the school’s Hall of Distinction.

Congratulations to David on this well-deserved recognition and his continued commitment to LUBA, our policyholders, agents and the communities we serve.
