LUBA Workers’ Comp names Katie Crochet to Information Technology Manager

Baton Rouge, La. (January 4, 2016) – LUBA Workers’ Comp has named Katie Crochet Manager of their Information Technology department. 

Crochet joined LUBA in 1993 and previously managed the Payroll Audit and Billing department.  Additionally, Crochet provided primary oversight of the company’s reporting requirements to the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI). With her diverse background and over 20 years of workers’ comp experience; she is able to lead the company’s technology strategy by defining, delivering, and supporting technological initiatives and systems.

“Throughout the years, Katie has demonstrated leadership and detail-oriented expertise for our internal team, agents, and policyholders,” said Mike DePaul, Chief Operating Officer at LUBA.

In her new role as Information Technology Manager, Crochet oversees a team of IT specialists ensuring secure and effective operation of all computer systems and related applications, software, and hardware. She also oversees external data reporting, which includes NCCI and other state requirements.

She is a member of the National Society of Insurance Premium Auditors and also serves on the board of the Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge.
